[Solved] A380 not pressurized Is this a bug? - Neillya1 - 23-07-2005 Is was flying VYMD to EHAM in my a380, but when i passed 12000ft, the pressure danger level and the passenger fear started to rise. I was then told by the hostess to decend below 10,000ft which i did. After checking outside the plane to see if a door i was opened, i saw they were all closed. I declared and emergrency, and changed my destination to VYMD to perform and emergrency landing, as it was the closest airport. When I landed and called up the flight report, it said i has declared a false emergrency - but it also said perfect flight with no problems and satisfied passengers! I had also asked to be allowed to exceed 250kts, and ATC lifted the speed restriction, and then in the flight report it said aircraft are prohibited to exceed 250kts below 10,000ft and that i was fined £244. Another problem (perhaps a bug?) is that my flight report says that my average speed was 1.10kt! Here is the flight report: Flight glo402 End of flight report Date July 23 2005 Flight ID: glo402 Pilot: Mr Andersson Company: Global Airways Aircraft: Airbus A380-800 MAI Flight Date: July 23 2005 Departure: 11h14 (05h14 GMT) Arrival: 11h45 (05h46 GMT) From: VYMD - Mandalay Intl - Myanmar To: VYMD - Mandalay Intl - Myanmar Nbr of Passengers: 460 Special: The Captain has declared what seems like a false emergency during flight. (+150) Pilot's Penalty points: -426 points (£2,835 bill) You have declared an emergency without a proper reason. A lot of resources were involved to ensure your safety and this needs to be paid, your company received a bill for £2,595. (-300) All aircraft are prohibited to exceed 250Kts below 10000 ft AMSL; your speed was 42 Kts above this limit Our company received a fine of £244. (-127) Re: Is this a bug? - SWAFO - 23-07-2005 You need to make sure that in the payload editor, the aircraft you are flying with has the "PRESSURIZED" option checked. This is worth investigating. If your aircraft isn't pressurized (according to FSP), then when you climb above 12,000ft, you'll start to get decreased PAX satisfaction, and pressure problems. Declaring an emergency is not warranted in this situation, because FSP thinks you're flying an unpressurized plane. Have a look, and let me know. Re: Is this a bug? - DanSteph - 23-07-2005 Just checked the a380.ini it have the "this aircraft isn't pressurized flag check, it's an error sorry. this will be ok in next version. If you want to correct that in your version launch the "payload editor" available by window's menu load the "a380.ini" uncheck "this aircraft isn't pressurised" and save the ini file... Hope it help ?
