Fuel Load weight, cargo and pax - Andedrunkard - 13-07-2005 Guys, have any of you noticed that in order to get ALL passengers from the gates boarded that you are having to cut the fuel loaded? I wonder if it is a problem with the plane (now im thinking about it)? I have bought a Fokker twin turbine jet (f100??) and i cant fly to hawaii from san fran due to the fact that i cant get enough fuel onboard without leaving some poor lad and his mate in terminal 1's burger king. anyone noticed a workaround for this? cheers Ande Re: Fuel Load weight, cargo and pax - SWAFO - 13-07-2005 In reality, aircraft have maximum takeoff weights. If you've got a flight full of PAX, the bays full of cargo, and you need near full fuel you're going to be cutting it close, if not exceeding the MTOW. It's not a problem with the plane, as all planes have these limitations. Re: Fuel Load weight, cargo and pax - Ryanamur - 13-07-2005 Couldn't have put it better myself! Thanks Brad Re: Fuel Load weight, cargo and pax - SWAFO - 13-07-2005 You bet, that's what I'm here for! |
