to crash or not to crash - rennman - 13-07-2005 while using fsp i noticed that i was able to crash into the ground even though "ignore crash" was selected in the fs setup...now if you think about it...invincible mode would contradict the very spirit of fsp...so enable crash would have to always be on in order to engage fsp...now the reason that a hard core realism lover like me had "ignore crash "on is this..there is no way to turn of just the object collision in flightsim.. i use alot of add on scenery...and many times i would crash into non existant objects while taxiing..nothing is worse than doing a perfect long difficult flight... just to crash while taxiing into nothing ..and have flightsim reset before i have the satisfaction of shutting down the engines at the gate.....now my point about all of this is this....does fsp(even unintentionally) offer a way to allow the ground crash realism...while ignoring the object crash? Re: to crash or not to crash - DanSteph - 13-07-2005 you need to edit the "more_option.cfg" located in config folder and set the line as below: DisableForceCrashDetection =1; // disable the "force crash detection" feature of FsP hope it help ? Dan Re: to crash or not to crash - rennman - 13-07-2005 actaully i like it the way it is now...if ground crash is on ....and object crash is off..is this the case? (flightsim by itself does not offer this) Re: to crash or not to crash - DanSteph - 13-07-2005 if FsP "force crash" feature is disabled you are now under your Fs2004 setup so you can choose exactly what you want (crash but no collide for example) Hope it help ? Dan Re: to crash or not to crash - rennman - 13-07-2005 Quote:under your Fs2004 setupFs 2004 setup does NOT allow turning off building crash without turning off ground crash....I think Fsp allows this ....is this the case? Re: to crash or not to crash - DanSteph - 13-07-2005 I was reffering to "collide" with another aircraft Dan Re: to crash or not to crash - rennman - 13-07-2005 you know what...even that collide with other aircraft flag doesn't work...iv'e had collisions with other a/c even with it disabled.....any way this combo of yes ground crash ....and no building crash is just what i want |
