Re: FSpassenger problem - olivier - 10-01-2016

Hi xleox92,

I've got exactly the same issue yesterday. If I answered Yes, FSX-SE stopped immediately (and no fspassengers log was created), If I answered No, FSX-SE started
successfully but without the fspax addon.

I've first reinstalled the last fspassengers update but without success, then I totally uninstalled fspassengers and reinstalled the last version but still no success.

I was finally able to solve the issue by using the 'restore feature" available in Windows 8.1 and resetting my computer to the last automatic checkpoint generated by
windows.

You can find information on how to restore Windows to a previous retore point on http://blogs.msdn.com/b/zxue/archive/2012/03/09/windows-8-how-to-29-restore-system-
to-a-previous-state-using-restore-point.aspx

Hope it helps

Olivier

Re: FSpassenger problem - xleox92 - 10-01-2016

So do a restore until the day I have installed FSP?

Re: FSpassenger problem - olivier - 11-01-2016

In my case, the error message has occured suddenly. I was playing successfully with last version of Fspax in the morning. I closed FSX then after a restart it, I've got the
error. Nothing installed in between. So I suspect the issues is coming from an automatic windows (or Steam) update.

I just restored Windows to the last checkpoint (dated Computer date minus 2) and it solves the issue (even if when looking at restore point details, it claims that no
programs have been installed)

So, I would suggest you try a restore to the most recent checkpoint.
