Question about Comm/INS failure - gfl1973 - 06-01-2016

Hi!. I have flown from Helsinki to Paris and in the middle of the flight i lost comms and the plane go straight without following the fmc route.
Is it a FSP multiple failure? INS + Comm ?.
The SAT in flight was about 52ºC and i didnt activate the anti-ice. I dont know if it was the reason.

Thanks.

A320 Aerosoft.

I wouldn't say that is a comm failure...rather a nav failure, which could be brought about by electrical failure. FsP can obviously induce the
electrical failure, as you can hear an intermittent buzzing sound if FsP causes the failure. Did you hear this sound at all?

I'm sure 52C is a typo. You likely meant -52C. In any case, you should always, at the minimum, activate windshield heat.

ATC Window didnt show anything, ins alignment didnt work, plane went off
course. No ecas failure msg. I dont remember that electrical sound. Ill try
other long fly now. Im newbie with fsp failures. Thanks for your answer.
