The Lukla challenge - gbapache - 19-08-2013 So much of this site has turned into complaining about this and that doesn't work, how 'bout we talk about flying again. I throw my glove into the faces of all you newbees to land at Lukla, Nepal. Show me your stuff and let loose the crashing planes. ![]() ![]() P.S. I forgot to add that you must use real world weather. Post Edited ( 08-19-13 17:56 ) Re: The Lukla challenget - Joeflyer - 20-08-2013 Use Aerosoft's Lukla scenery with Opus weather engine. I love using Opus when flying below 20k....it's quite awesome! Added VNKT scenery (Thai Creation I think) not long ago, installed Aerosoft's Twotter extended and went on a Nepal tour. Had several exciting approaches to Lukla in overcast skies and rain. Opus kicks butt! Re: The Lukla challenge - gbapache - 20-08-2013 Mr. Holmes, you (and I) are too old to use terms like "kicks butt". From hens forth the only approved phraseology will be "...is a cool thingy" or "...neato" ![]() ![]() Re: The Lukla challenge - crowebird - 21-08-2013 Lets take the time machine back about 6 years :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o94Z8H2si0M Re: The Lukla challenge - Joeflyer - 21-08-2013 Ahhh, I miss the WT days! Thanks for bringing back the memories, Crowe! @Apache....I never use such harsh language ![]() |
