non-hungry/non-thirsty passengers? - 1995diago - 01-05-2013

Hi there,

I recently did a virtual flight from Amsterdam to Brunei. After the flight i watched the flight log.
The number of sandwiches, hot food and drinks sold, was 3 - 2 - 5.

It is clear that this is very unrealistic, because:
- The Flight took almost 13 hours (4 hours real time)
- The passengers were 5 times served
- Food quality is 100%
- Prices in economy are on low; business, first and VIP - class are free

Normally you would take atleast 6 drinks, 3 snacks and a hot meal.

Sooo... is there any way to make people more willing to take food and drinks?

I believe those numbers refer to how many times you served each of those categories on the flight.

Does FSPassengers account for time compression?

3 sandwiches, 2 hot meals, and 5 drinks is all FSP will allow. On long flights it is best to do the services yourself (rather than auto). Pax get hungry 4
hours after hot and 2 hours after sandwiches. Throw in the occasional movie and they should be happy. Don't forget to play some music when you
are taxiing to the gate.
