FS Passengers and Windows 8 64 bit. - cmg344 - 30-04-2013 Hi there, I have been experiencing some issues with FS Passengers. I have it istalled in a PC with Windows 8 Pro 64 bit. My version of FS Passengers is for FS2004, and of course, I'm running FS2004. The problema is that I run the setup, then I start a flight, and I register my copy of FS Pax. I do a flight with PMDG 737-600 NG -doing the corrections- , and the first flight runs smooth and well. But, when I try to do my second flight, when I have taken off, and climbing, FS Pax Crashes To Desktop. Any clue...? Thank you in advance. Re: FS Passengers and Windows 8 64 bit. - gbapache - 01-05-2013 So......all that you told us was that you were flying along and you crashed to desktop? ![]() Re: FS Passengers and Windows 8 64 bit. - cmg344 - 01-05-2013 Quote:gbapache wrote: Yes, and when this CTD is done, as much as I restart the computer and create a new flight, the CTD still occurs. If I uninstall FS PAX, and try one of those flights, all goes correctly. I also tried to run FS PAX in compatibility mode with XP, XP SP2, XP SP3, Windows Vista and, of course, Windows 7. All of them as an administrator. For more information, I tried to deactivate Users Account Control, but all I did was in vane. I have tried all of above in two computers and FS PAX had the same behavior. ![]() Re: FS Passengers and Windows 8 64 bit. - cmg344 - 04-05-2013 Quote:gbapache wrote: Don't put such stupid thing ![]() My FSPassengers is paid and I have a legal license. Re: FS Passengers and Windows 8 64 bit. - Danielmd11 - 13-06-2013 I'm using Windows 7 64-bit and was experiencing the same problem. I found a fix on the internet for it, I can't remember the link for it and I'm on my phone, so can't search for it again either. I think I found it on Google by searching "FS Passengers crash to desktop" or something along those lines. Re: FS Passengers and Windows 8 64 bit. - Joeflyer - 13-06-2013 UIautomationcore.dll may be the culprit? Re: FS Passengers and Windows 8 64 bit. - LCX - 25-06-2013 I've come back to passengers after a while and I'm having the exact same issue you described ... company setup etc runs flawlessly , first flight with no problems .... after restoring the aircraft position the next time i appear in the postion the plane was left and after anywhere from 3-30 seconds it crashs to desktop...... Did you figure this out? Same OS specs as Op. |
