Landing problems - cneogy - 25-08-2012

I've tried landing twice now with FSPassengers in a CRJ-200 at around 140 knots approach/landing speed. Both times when I hit the ground,
pretty smoothly, one of the landing gear sides in the aft gave out and like... basically I just skidded to a stop. I can't understand why this is
happening. The first time it was an ILS approach, the second time a visual... When I fly sans FSpassengers, I fly the route just fine.. But for
some reason whenever I add in the FSP, I get dominated.... Help Fool

Can you post a copy of the flight report.

Re: Landing problems - cneogy - 25-08-2012

I burst a tire as i found out more accurately. Sorry i kind of deleted the flights. Although I landed like 3 more times and the same thing
happened. Am I descending too fast?

I'm going to assume that you are flying FSX. Please do a search called "tire blowing". There are around 10 bazzillion complaints
about "my tires always blow".

Re: Landing problems - Joeflyer - 27-08-2012

I finally had a blown tire with a ERJ-190 yesterday...woohoo! Landed at -104 ft/min and the right tire went, "POW!" But, the end of flight report said
that I took off with under inflated tires Big Grin Now how was I suppose to know that before hand and is there a patch for it?? lol Oh, I did
patch the tire after the 180 spin on the runway Wink

Re: Landing problems - gbapache - 27-08-2012

Oh, young Joe. If only you had done a proper pre-flight then you would have found the flat tire. Smile The tire blowing patch is just a couple of
days away from being delivered by the same spaceship that is bringing Elvis back home.

Dear old dilapidated Apache...you know Elvis still hibernates on the second floor of Graceland. That's why no one is permitted to go to the second
floor Big Grin I still believe, I still believe....Elvis is still alive and that patch is on its way lol
