FML - adam2929 - 23-07-2011 I started at heathrow en route to Kennedy Intl at FL380 not only did i encounter a wind shift causing me to overspeed, with only 1 hour left of the flight, I got the dreaded 'A fatal error has occurred' Never am i doing a long haul fllight again arrggggh! ![]() Re: FML - marianoberna - 23-07-2011 For the Crash.. well it's something that happens. About the wind shift, Get FSUIPC!!! You can configure it to limit wind speed changes to a x number of knots per second And wind direction to a x number of degrees per second And add random icing and turbulence on some clouds And And And And And Well you get me... it's probably the best thng ever invented for FS Also, it corrects the bug in AS when changing autopilot between Mach and IAS ![]() It's payware, but worth every cent Re: FML - overkiller - 29-07-2011 I believe the freeway FSUIPC can help you. I have the paid version and I can control the wind shifts. I made them slow enough for my autothrottle to correct my plane's speed but fast enough for me to notice a wind shift. In real life this happens. I think in FS its over done, mainly because of the limitations of flight simulation on a computer with simulated weather. Its something veteran flight simmers just adapt to. |
