Lear Jet Lights FSX - bolz3r - 22-01-2011 Hello, I have a problem to figure out which lights I need to activate in the Lear Jet. FSP want me to have: Nav Lights Beacon Lights Strobes Taxi Lights Landing Lights I have; Nav Lights BCN/Strobe Recog L/R Landing/Taxi When should I activate which light I have in the Lear Jet, to satisfy FSP with full light penalty on? Another basic question: When should I activate the Seat Belt lights to satisfy FSP? Thanks in advance ![]() Re: Lear Jet Lights FSX - whiskey-zulu - 22-01-2011 Seatbelts should be on all the time when on the ground, except during re-fueling; PIC's discretion in the air. Lights wise, you'll have to play around with the settings. I haven't flown the default LearJet for some time, but as a rule, beacon should be on when the APU and/ or engines are running, as should NAV lights; strobes and landing lights go on when entering the runway after T/O clearance and off when exiting a runway after landing; landing lights should also be off at 10K feet. Taxi lights on on the ground, off at wheels up. Re: Lear Jet Lights FSX - bolz3r - 22-01-2011 Thanks for the prompt reply! The problem is, I don´t know what the RECOG light is. Is it compareble to the STROBE on other planes? If I turn it on, nothing happens. Another point is the combined Taxi/Landing lights. Should I turn them on while taxi, even if the landing lights are on too then? Please check the link below for better understanding. Thanks a lot!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LycuubENrgo Re: Lear Jet Lights FSX - Joeflyer - 22-01-2011 Recognition lights = nav lights. I'm sure you have a switch or button for nav lights? ![]() Re: Lear Jet Lights FSX - bolz3r - 22-01-2011 Quote:Joeflyer wrote: ![]() FSPassenger gave me a penalty for not turning on the strobe light when enter runway. I turned on the BCN/STROBE light right before starting the engines in Frankfurt and turned it off right after cutoff the engines in Munich. I did that because of the BCN shortcut. I think this means beacon. Unfortunally it seems like the Strobe light is also on then ![]() In the end it is that I have: BCN/STROBE = beacon and strobe light together at one switch NAV = navigation lights RECOG = this switch doesn´t work L LDG = all taxi and landing lights together at one switch R LDG = this switch doesn´t work How can I use this configuration without getting a light penalty by FSP? Plz help ![]() or how can I make the lights work? Post Edited ( 01-22-11 16:15 ) |
