Starting flight, only 75% full aircraft ? - xwhitemousex - 24-10-2010 Does the amount of passengers you get increase over time? My company rep is 96%, and I have around 40 departures from same airport, but I'm only getting 3/4 full airplanes each trip. With my 6 seat Seneca, I never get more (or less) than 4 passengers. With my 20 seat Twin Otter, I never get more, or less, than 15 passengers. Is this a set value or does it change? In the latter case, what affects it? Amount of departures, pilot ranking, company rep? Thanks ![]() Re: Starting flight, only 75% full aircraft ? - gbapache - 24-10-2010 No glass that you pick up and drink from is ever completely full. Take heart in the knowledge that with less weight from the cattle, you require less fuel to reach your destination. ![]() Re: Starting flight, only 75% full aircraft ? - xwhitemousex - 25-10-2010 While this is true, I end up stowing in enough cargo to reach 100% TOW :P The Twotter gets noseheavy if I don't, so it's not just for the added income. Re: Starting flight, only 75% full aircraft ? - NYY11725 - 25-10-2010 The better your rep, you'll start to notice more people waiting at the gate. I started with 99 for a few flights, now I get 129 Re: Starting flight, only 75% full aircraft ? - iflyfsx - 25-10-2010 Ticket prices will also affect the number of passengers willing to take a ride with your company. Re: Starting flight, only 75% full aircraft ? - NYY11725 - 25-10-2010 Indeed, you should adjust the pricing as well Re: Starting flight, only 75% full aircraft ? - xwhitemousex - 26-10-2010 Well my rep is 96% which I thought was quite decent, and I have prices set at Normal. I mostly do flights of around 100-300nm, depending on how much time I got. Basically it's 1hr-3hr flights with my Twin Otter, so the income lands at around 30-120k$ with 15 passengers. |
