Changing Music While Taxing Can it Be Done? - Blaze - 02-07-2010 I know and understand how to download and add music files to FsPassangers my problem is that when I turn the music on while taxing it just continues to play the first track (Coral Diver) in a continuous loop. Is there no way to either have it play all of the tacks I have randomly or at least let me select through them while taxing. Sort of like driving in your car and changing the radio station or selecting the next track on a CD? Thanks in Advance, Robert Re: Changing Music While Taxing Can it Be Done? - timtomairways - 02-07-2010 If you have a WAV editer. you could put all thoues songs you want into 1 big file. not shure if it will work thoue. Simply turning off the music, then turning it on jump to the next track. Otherwise, you'd have to combine tracks like timtomairways says. Re: Changing Music While Taxing Can it Be Done? - whiskey-zulu - 06-07-2010 FSPX emplys the same method for jumping tracks as FSP. Re: Changing Music While Taxing Can it Be Done? - Doc3511 - 09-07-2010 yeah but turning it off and then on triggers the flight attendant sound file that says "we are cleared for take off" and i think thats what he is trying to avoid. Re: Changing Music While Taxing Can it Be Done? - Doc3511 - 09-07-2010 you are right it should but when i change songs when taxing (far from runway) the F/A says that. Post Edited ( 07-09-10 22:06 ) Re: Changing Music While Taxing Can it Be Done? - whiskey-zulu - 09-07-2010 You've obviously given your F/As too much to drink during the pre-flight 'briefing'. I would hope not everybody does that to the ire F/A's. Thats my thing. But only the attractive ones. Re: Changing Music While Taxing Can it Be Done? - Blaze - 25-07-2010 I ended up assigning the "music on" button to a momentary switch via FSUPIC and have been able to move through the song selections rather quickly using it. I have not had the problem of the F/A announcing the ready for takeoff warning. Not perfect but it works. Re: Changing Music While Taxing Can it Be Done? - DavidK - 20-08-2010 I too experience the "The captain has received clearance for takeoff" announcement (in FSPX) when I first try switching the music, but, as it doesn't seem to affect the flight rating, I just let it happen.
