Where are you? - Flash87 - 01-04-2005

Hey Dan I'm extremly excited about this addon i've been going to this website since January and I look at the form almost every day. My
question is do you have any idea of how close you are to finishing this project? Awhile ago you said you hope to finish this around April
do you still feel like you can accomplish this? I just wonder exactly where your at in this project. Anyway no matter how long it takes
thankyou for making such a wonderful project and good luck to you! Smile

hello Flash...

It's very hard to say... after about one years of work of course I'm really close
from the finish and I work all the day long on it.

Some time things can get fixed really fast and sometime one thing can
slow me during one weeks...

It miss now only the financial calculus for the economic part when you end a flight
(nee to be redone after my last add about ticket and service price) and the statistics
in meaning of features.

After that I'll track all the inconsistency bug here and there, with 36'000
lines of code somes things need to get fixed and somes final dialog need
to be done (for example the "option" dialog was always temporary
as I don't stop to add new options).
It will be time here to involve more beta tester.

Once done it will be time to tune all the gameplay so it's really consistent
after that I'll need to earn proffessionnal or have people that offer their
voice for co-pilot and hostess... (sound effect are mostly done)

Then all the doc that will need to be done by me and corrected by Jennifer.

Then all the legal stuff to sell the product then final release...

Could this all be done in one month ?... I have a doubt.
1 1/2 month ? I hope... at least I work 12h-14h and sometime 16h per day on it.

Dan

Dan have taken and still takes a lot of consideration to the actual beta testers team. He has done a lot for our requests, and these tests
help a lot in making this product suitable for many many people because what most FS users would have expected are discussed,
included, modified etc.

Not only he has the skills for developing it, but he also has the ones to drive the tests in the right way with efficient tools I'm not saying we
are all praying him, that would not help him at all in getting an honest feedback.

All that said to mean a part of the development is also taken to ensure the product released will be a lot enjoyable for everyone interested
in such enchanced flight simulation environment.
