I bought myself a great J-3 Piper Cub. Great little toy!
I made a short flight with FSPAX. Everything went just fine except one thing... this bird doesn't have any flaps! So I was "awarded" -700 (I think)
for not setting proper flaps on takeoff AND landing. This was a Normal flight mode.
Is this the way it is?

You can disable the flaps penalty within FSPAX.
