Hav'n a blast!!! still! - TristenEugene - 06-02-2010

Back at it after a time away. I am still flying FS9.

My Fleet: RFP 747 Pan Am, SGA DC-10-30 Continetal airlines (Soon to be replaced with a good payware model), Vistaliner 727-200
Trans International Airlines, HJG DC-8-61/10 Trans International Airlines, B-247D City of Oakland.

My private plane for zooming around is Captain Sims F-105. z o o m z o o m

My airline is TIA -Trans Internaional airlines- With 2 other companies: TIT -Trans International Training- and TIM -Trans
International Maint;/testing.

My Base is VHHX. Hubs: KSAN, KBOS, PANC and KMIA Kai Tak is tricked out with FlyTampas's Kai Tak and Calclassics retro traffic 60's-70's
traffic.

The training company has all my pilots. I occasionally fly all the pilots so as to gain experience (Career mode) Then I transfer them to the
airline.

The Maint/test company is where I test fly aircraft I have just purchased or whatever so as to determine flight charachteristics and such. I
conduct these flight with no passengers. Only various fuel/cargo loads so as to have different weights. I then do approaches, engine out
and such.

For all you's flying RFP's 747, make sure you disable that dammm BG steering in the aircraft.cfg. This will stop the aircraft from sliding
sideways off the runway when using the rudder.

BTW Watch out for Dan's and Recon's English! It is b a d !

Wow. Sounds like an AWESOME time! Love the HUBS too. Did you say you had traffic for VHHX? If you did, HOW? and do they make
the correct approach?

Right on Recon! GET SOME!!!

Jetliner X. I am happy to answer this because I am still so excited about it. Even though you probably know the answer by now due to the
extent of online/forum etc coverage of this subject.

YES!!! Those suckers not only fly the proper approach, but prang it in sideways just like the real thing when the wind is kicking. It is a
blast to be on the peak , checkerboard etc and watch them come in! It's like being back there. I also have ambient sound files for realism
(Sounds of Hong kong street noise/traffic, harbor etc.) I have some good screenshots/vids. I'll try to post some.

BTW! My traffic is from the 60's-70's L-1011's, VC-10's, Connies, viscounts, 707's and such. Too cool to see the old liveries and all.

Keep the dirty side down Brother!

Just an update. I got the entire classic pack from calclassic. About 150 airports and about 80 different aircraft from 1962. Pretty cool
seeing Vegas, L.A, San Diego, Berlin and many more airports and scenery from this time. DC-6's, 7's, Viscounts, 7o7's, Cool!
