There is no possible way this thread can get nasty. Here is an idea for some of the mods:
When a thread is updated with a new posts it shows up in the "latest posts" box. That's a great tool, would it be possible that when we click on that
thread it would take us to the latest post rather than the original? I know it's possible as it is done in a few of the other forums I'm on and is
much better than having to scroll to the bottom of each thread and going to the latest page and then scrolling down to the latest post.
Just an idea. . . if that's ok

That sounds good to me. I made a post about how I hate reading all the posts and then figureing out that the thread is closed. If
AeroJims advice went into play, then it would be better for us so that when we want to post something, we can see if its locked before
reading all the posts. You truly earned those 5 stars on this forum AeroJim. Great to hear from someone like you!

This idea is good for those of us that check in every day. If you only look in here once a week you would want to see the original post from
a few days ago.
Scrolling your mouse can not be that painful.

It can be really annoying. . .. you only need to see the top of the thread once, whereas you have to go to the new threads every time you wish to read
it.

Yes nice idea,....only you get then some people maybe who respond on the last view post and missing the rest of the story.
It happend allready a view times that they dont read.
Maybe if it is closed the mods can mark it better, as from now on I will do
