FSX PMDG MD11 aLarm on failure. - TomDuc - 18-08-2009 Hi Folks, During my last flight I have an engine failure, but I had no alarm in the cockpit except FsP copilot who said "Ooops blablabla". That's why I would like to know if there is a way to have an alarm into the cockpit for an engine fire. Maybe it's a compatibility problem between FsP and the MD11 alarm management. I know that MD11 is not fully compatible with FsP so it's probably the problem. Before post, I have checked for similar question on the forum without any success. Re: FSX PMDG MD11 aLarm on failure. - DSW334 - 18-08-2009 it's indeed a comptability issue. FSP can't trigger the failures in the PMDG. But as far as I know, PMDG did built in there own failure mode. So check out their menu's. It probably should be hidden in there somewhere. Re: FSX PMDG MD11 aLarm on failure. - TomDuc - 19-08-2009 Thanks for that explanation, but if I enable PMDG failures FsP will probably not detect the failure so if I declare an emergency FsP will give me some penalties... Anyway, I can fly like that and even If FsP is not compatible at 100% with PMDG FsP is a good software. |
