problem with Windows 7 ( 64 bit) - ozgurtetik - 19-07-2009
Hi Guys,
I am having problem with FsPS on 64 bit Windows 7. FsPx is freezing 2-3 minutes after start flying from FSPS. If I dont use FSPS there is
no problem. I have checked RAM usage. I thought may be thats the issue. nope. There isnt any RAM issue.
Does anyone have same problem? What / where could be the issue?

well windows 7 is still in beta (or it may be out now im not shure) and FSpX was released before windows 7 and its only design to work
on windows XP or Vista.
theres no guarentee that it would even install on W7 let alone run corectly.
we cant officaly support Windows 7 but we might help out now and then

I'm running Windows 7 32 bit and having 0 issues. No idea what could be causing yours

Flying FSX/FsPX/RC 4.0 on Windows 7 and no problems so far! Make sure you start FSX as administrator (right-click and point to Run as administrator).

Most of the times it happens when I make my flight plans. If I try to draw flight map (GPS) lines my self. Its not a big deal on flight plan but its a pain when it
happens during long flight.

I'm running Win 7 64 and have had no problems other than the occasional freeze after accessing the menu a number of times.... I get around this by
"Ending flight" after every other flight.... Hasn't happened for quite some time now.

Ive been running Win7 since it became available for beta... yes, I was a tester....
Never had any problems running either FS9 or FSX combined with the versions of FSP here.
PMDG acts up once in a while but I used to that from the XP times.
Overall Win7 is performing the way Vista was supposed to. With full XP support.

Guys,
problem was DX9 - DX10
addon was built based on DX9. I was using DX10. That's why I had all sorts of problems.

Ahh, so this was a self-induced issue. Can we say this issue is resolved?
