747=Unhappy Passengers?? - Mongoose - 23-05-2009

I started a thread question earlier regarding unhappy passengers on a flight from California to Hawaii. The passenger satisfation never went above 58%.
Well it's happened again. On a flight from Sacramento to Seattle using the stock 747, the passenger satisfaction went from 100% at the gate (makes
sense) to 50% at about 2000ft after take off. So far, I'm about halfway to my destination and it's gone up to a measly 56%.
The take off was perfect and I had drinks in their hands almost immediately. They have food and a movie. No turbulence and the flight is right on time.
My question is; is it the stock 747 they don't like? Wonder

People get scared to death when taking off without the seatbelt sign on. Are you sure you have one on?

Yep, seat belts on. And again, no turbulence, no music. Really a perfect flight up until they got ticked off.
And it stayed at 58% and got no higher. I fed and gave them liquor (not to much booze, don't want any unruly passengers) the whole flight.
This has really got me puzzled. I'm getting ready to make it a cargo only company.

Again, check to see if your destination has been cancelled without you meaning for it to be, this causes the pax satisfaction to drop that low.

Upload the flight report.

Where are they saved?
The only one I know of is the last flight and I've flown since then.

Go into your pilot's records, and click on the appropriate flight; you'll then see the end-of-flight report for that flight. Copy and paste is here,
substituting should you desire, your pilot's name and company name for whatever.

Found it Whiskey, thanks.
And I found the issue. The problem is solved.
The passengers didn't like my take off. They are "annoyed because I made what seemed to be a dangerous take off".
It appears that all of the passengers are accredited 747 pilots. Smile
I'm not to sure where they get that opinion. In my mind, the take off was pretty good. The weather was clear with no wind to speak of. No turbulence,
no excessive speed, etc but something I did made em mad!
I guess it's back to school on the 747.

Hi.... maybe u did a tail strike??

but i really dont knwo how u can do a bad take off, since the take off is more easy than landing...., try to post all the final report of that flight

chears!!

Re: 747=Unhappy Passengers?? - djjoost - 25-05-2009

maybe you outrun the runway (so you took off while just touching the grass with the tires) , or took off too steep ?
I had this happen to me a couple of times and this was always without a tailstrike or something similair.

The only thing the report stated was what I wrote above. Passengers current opinion: "Never again this company" and -Are annoyed because you
made what seemed to be a dangerous take-off.

It seemed to me to be a good take-off, certainly no tail strike. The ascent wasn't to steep and no turbulence but like I said, time to go back to
school ans see if I can identify any mistakes I might have made.

maybe, just maybe, is a problem with the afcad file of that airport... maybe the runway are declared as grass, but u see as asphalt or
concrete, try to do a fligh from to a diferent airport

chears!!!

That suggestion may have some merit. In an attempt to recreate this flight, I planned the same route and configured the aircraft exactly the same.
Only this time I did it from SFO because I was getting bored flying out of Sac. I did my normal take-off and got onto my flight plan and lo and
behold, 100% satisfaction. This even after getting a bunch of screams as we lifted off of 19R and ran into the coastal wind. That caused a fair amount
of turbulence. According to FSX, Runway 19R at SFO is 7,506ft and Runway 16R at Sac is 8,609ft. At both SFO and Sac, I took off with plenty of runway
to spare but with two consistently different results. It is certainly worth looking at. Either that or just fly out of SFO.

Re: 747=Unhappy Passengers?? - drbit - 27-05-2009

u have the default scenary of SFO and SAC???

cuz maybe the problem is with the SAC afcad bgl file

chears!!
