Question on technical failures - cburna - 13-05-2009

I have recently attempted four flights in a 100% maintained Boeing 777-200 from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow.

On every flight something went technically wrong.

ATTEMPT 1: I started the engines and noticed engine 2 oil pressures were lower and the thrust was lower than engine 1. Anyway I
decided to continue taxing and continue with the flight to see what will happen. Shortly after takeoff engine 2 flamed out! I tried landing it
and wasn't able to... so I didn't record it.

ATTEMPT 2: I took off as normal and was climbing at arounrd FL270 through FL290 and then my cabin depressurised causing me to
rapidly descend and divert.

ATTEMPT 3: I was at cruising altitude and left the sim to continue while I went downstairs..... when I came back up my plane was on the
ground. I am not sure what happened but I am assuming I had been shot down as FSBuild's routing took me directly over the war zone
which is Iraq and that is where the plane was!

ATTEMPT 4: The fourth and final attempt was a perfect flight until I touched down at Heathrow and then my co-pilot says 'brake failure...no
brakes', fortunately I was still able to stop the a/c in time.

Looking at the 'dangerous' file found in the config folder in the FSPassengers main folder it does give percentages of certain parts of the
world referring to failure risk and war risk, but what is confusing me is that United Arab Emirates is not included on the list.

Iran north is included and the fail rate is 10 and I did fly over western Iran then into Turkey, but looking at my attempts three out of the four
happened when I wasn't anywhere near Iran...

... So I am wondering whether it was due to where I departed from or just plain bad luck?

what is your company failure risk lever???

maybe that is the reason, last night i have 3 in a row failures in a A321 flying from MMMY (Monterrey, Mexico) to MMMX (Mexico City)

one was the gear dont up, tow a bird impact on eng nÂș1, third a broken windows at fl190, my plane was on 100% maintenance every
flight, but my failure level is about 25%, and the zone is on 0% to 4%, so the failure risk is about 25% to 29% every flight

check your company setup
