Passenger boarding time - Hurricane - 07-05-2009

Dan,

Today boarding time is something you have to define manually when starting a flight, whereas the time needed for passengers to leave
the plane after the flight is obviously computed. Would it be possible to have the boarding time (by choice) computed as well? From the
many, many (too many) RW flights in the past couple of years I have come to the conclusion that you could use something like 10
seconds per passenger boarding.

Dunno what plane you fly on, but it takes much more than 10 seconds lmao

Re: Passenger boarding time - Anastasios - 07-05-2009

Normally boarding start about 30 minutes before departure and at long haul flights sometimes 40 minutes.

20 minutes is really short, unless the flight is not full.

Anastasios.

Did you actually read his post before replying?

10 seconds PER PASSENGER

Approx
737-800 = 29mins
ATR-72 = 12 mins
