Hello,
once more a suggestion, that may sounds funny (only) for the first read. I would like to suggest to split up the briefing phrases and let the player
select the most usefull phrases for passenger briefing before flight.
This includes the advantage for the player to save time before departure or not. May with the panalty, that passengers don't know, how to react in
case of an emergency. On a domestic flight it may would'nt be usefull to brief passengers how to use lifevests in case of ditching. In case of an
emergency on a isle-hopper flight, forgetting to brief about it may causes fatalities. So it would be nice to select the most usefull points, as you
are responsible for your passengers. Just an example...
X Emergency exits (30 sec)
O Decompression and oxigenmasks (1 min)
X Location and use of lifevests (1:30 min)
X Non-smoking flight, electronic devices and mobile phones (1 min)
O Dimm of cabin light (for nighttime landing and start, 30 sec)
O De-icing (to avoid self evacuation of passengers due to bad smelling in cabin, 30 sec)*
Total: Passenger briefing takes 3 Min.
*=On cold winter days after taxi from parking position to runway, the captain should hold short (may for two minutes) to simulate de-icing.
Passenger flight without briefing should be not permitted, and effect in results afterwards. For each phrase should be a several wav-file.
