Time error? - CrashGordon - 28-12-2008 I believe there should be a two hour difference in local and GMT. Quote:Flight ID: OMG781 Re: Time error? - SkyAirWorld - 28-12-2008 Your saying there is an error with the GMT clock in FSP...? Perhaps FSP has also factored in the DST settings? Post Edited ( 12-28-08 07:39 ) Re: Time error? - CrashGordon - 28-12-2008 Quote:SkyAirWorld wrote: GMT (or more properly UTC, for aviation purposes) is not subject to DST. No country I know of uses DST in December. If Greece were using DST, it would be UTC + 3 hours, not UTC +1 hour. I don't know whether there is an error in FSP's "GMT clock" or ignorance of what time zone Greece is in. Re: Time error? - CrashGordon - 28-12-2008 Getting back to the origional problem. Greece is in the Eastern European Time Zone. Eastern European Time (EET) Standard Time = GMT+2 Summer Time = GMT+3 It can never be UTC +1 Post Edited ( 12-28-08 18:59 ) Re: Time error? - lavrentis - 28-12-2008 yes this is an error with time zones which MS have put it. "FS Real Time" fixes these issues. I now enjoy many flights to Greece. Ohh. Eimai mathisi ellinika! :D Re: Time error? - CrashGordon - 28-12-2008 The next time I load a flight in Greece, I will check the times in FSX and then compare the offset to that of FSPX. I'd never noticed that, and probably wouldn't have until I saw the two side by side in the FSPX report. Re: Time error? - CrashGordon - 05-01-2009 I have to apologize. I did a flight in Greece. I checked the time and it was UTC +1 hour. It is an FSX problem, not FSPX. Re: Time error? - GreekMan - 05-01-2009 FSPX looks like 100% no-bugs.At least so far.I have about 16hrs with it under several circumstance and Im more than satisfied(As it was expected)...I know that it has already been posted a lot of time but I have to congratulate Dan and all of his team for his exceptional job to my favourite add-on. Re: Time error? - SkyAirWorld - 06-01-2009 there is a program to correct the FSX/ FS2004 Times I think its on AVSIM Re: Time error? - Joeflyer - 08-01-2009 Maybe it's called FS Realtime? I've got this program...works very well ![]() |
