FsP World Tour - Season #3 (Legs #30 & #31) - DBE - 21-07-2008

The FsPassengers World Tour is a MS Flight Simulator expedition around the world using FsPax to record the flight results for
each leg.

For the best enjoyment, the legs can be flown online with other participants on Tuesdays and Saturdays. However
if you cannot make those schedules, the challenge can still be experienced by completing each leg on your own.

The FsPWorldTour.com web site provides the flight plans, as well as additional
features for tour participants such as free scenery links, charts and weather forecasts. You will also find all the flight
results from the current tour as well as Season #1 and #2.

Come fly with us!

Used to be a tricky approach, apparently Luang Prabang is now a piece of cake: time to try it out! And in case you still haven't thought a picking up
a "souvenir" for the ladies left back home, Bangkok is said to be a place where you can pick up a myriad of weird and wonderful "stuff"..

It seems the usual suspects showed up for an online fiasco, errm, flight. Arjen, Trackymeister, myself and Ginny are getting prepared to
depart VGEG:

Arjen wanted to have some alone time on the other side of the airport, but I get to greet him as I position for departure:

The F100 blasts off like a rocket as Arjen gets into position on RWY 05:

Climbing to FL330 and Arjen is quickly approaching with his 737:

It didn't take long before Arjen appears in the distance and passes me by. Of course he's threading the Boeing through a CB to scare his
paxs a bit more:

On replay, I catch a glimpse of Arjen and Ginny waiting on Trackyboy's arrival at VLLB:

The Trackman in the distance slows his bucket o bolts F100 down for an easy approach:

My bucket of bolts decided to not lock the gear in the down position:

Since I didn't make a firm touchdown, the right gear was all whacked at that point:

Trackyboy gets a yellow F100 to add to his stock of F100s, as I sold the ugly beast immediately after the gear problem. Next time I'll use a
BoeingSmile But, we all arrived safely and will live to see another wondermous WT flight:

Re: FsP World Tour - Season #3 (Legs #30 & #31) - GinnyTanner - 24-07-2008

I think I've gotten an idea concerning the online flights. I think we all should list the plane we are using before the flight, so that we all can
download the correct liveries.

the list could look something like this

World Tour planes

leg 30
Ginny B752 British Airways (Rendezvous tail) POSKY(suggested location to get it)
Joe F100 Hapag-Lloyd
Tracker F100 KLM Cityhopper
DSW(Arjen) B73? ???

leg 31
Ginny E145 BA Connect POSKY

Edit: Formatted it nicely, but the forum ruined it

Re: FsP World Tour - Season #3 (Legs #30 & #31) - DSW334 - 24-07-2008

I still got a problem with the 737 series. So I probably will be flying the LDS767 saturday. Unless, it's a prop flight. Then I take the Beech
1900D KLM out of the hangar..

Re: FsP World Tour - Season #3 (Legs #30 & #31) - Joeflyer - 24-07-2008

I won't be flying this Saturday anyway. I'll be busy reinstalling FS9 and all addons. Got the new mobo, DDR3 ram and SATAII HD installed
today...fortunately everything posted on the first bootSmile So far, so good!

Good idea! But although I do not think many WT3 participants will go for it, I could add a section to the web site for this purpose..

@Joe: Sweet pics! I'm amazed at the features found in such a remote place!! Top
