Overland planes - marineman227 - 15-04-2008 Hey guys, I think this is more of an overland thing than a FSP thing but I just tried to use the 737-800 in FSP and the CofG is all the way to the back before loading anything, then if I fully load the front with nothing in back it comes close to center but still back a little bit. Does anyone have any experience with these things that could point me in the right direction of getting it nailed down on center. I don't know yet about their other aircraft but if anyone has experience with those please let me know as well since I'm sure I'll be using the 747 eventually. Re: Overland planes - homer09001 - 15-04-2008 i have the whole Simmers Sky Overland aircraft pack, i've never noticed such problem, have you tried contacting the Creators? Re: Overland planes - marineman227 - 15-04-2008 No I haven't contacted them yet, everything I find there is in japanese lol. Did you install the update they put out? I haven't got around to installing that yet so maybe that's my problem. I'll do some more tinkering and see if I can't get it ironed out. Edit: I'm flying the 737-800 now and all is well with flight dynamics and such but they have the altitude limited at 30,000 for their planes that I've noticed is that the same on yours or is mine that screwed up? I'll have to go dive into the cfg file and see if I can't get that fixed. Do a search for Overland or in the support forum and you'll find more information. Here's some stuff I did. << http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=7103&pid=68707#pid68707 >> BTW, Outer Marker (Bryan) is working on modifiying the Boeing FDEs for these models as we speak. He's already done all their airbus models. I had that problem last night where I was still in the air and it thought I had landed already so I just went back to the POSKY planes but I'll see if I can't get that to work. Don't give up on them! I love the Overland models -- I call them "fly and forget". They let me get into the air quickly and easily and allow me to do what I want to do the most: fly. If you keep your angle below 10 degrees nose up pitch at take off and landing, you'll be fine. Rest assured it can be done, and done well . . .every time. This little FSPax tail scrape "issue" gives the Overland planes just a little bit more of a challenge. Chuck |
