No demo flight, no music - United001 - 08-07-2005

I put my plane in KSFO. No demo flight is listed in the flight menu.
CTRL-SHIFT does not make any cabin music play, this is with
the FS9 default 737 with 107 passengers. I checked, the music
files are in the sound folder.

You don't have to use the demo flight, you just have to put yourself your plane at San Francisco.

You didn't mention that: did you start your flight? (FsP menu, Start Flight)

The shortcut for music is CTRL-SHIFT-T (you can get all shortcut on page 23 of the documentation)
But you can access this by the FsP menu as well.

Talking about music. Is there any way to either make sure the music isn't played in the cockpit, or to change the music to something else?

You can change the music by pressing CTRL-SHIFT-T until you get something you like Wink

yeah, and in some configs dont have the music playing too long after you take off. in fact, turn the music off just before you disconnect
your brakes for takeoff. you could be penalised as the pax dont seem to like music on in-flight. a feisty bunch-audio-grouches, some of
them pax could be. they get real happy when drinking. but cant do tooooo much of that either.
come to think of it, transporting a bunch of horses might be the way to go. they dont do any complaining.
fun stuff.

Found the topic regarding same issue in one of the other forums. I'll take a look at that. :-)

I changed the hotkey - United001 - 09-07-2005

I had to change the hotkey from CTRL-SHFT+T to CTRL-SHRT+<,
I even disabled the default use of CTRL-SHRT+T by FS9 to no avail.
It works now in any case.

You know, when PAX get too roudy in real life, some pilots used to pitch the plane up and down really rapidly until they quieted! Smile Maybe
