Building Collision - boeinglover - 26-06-2007

I just downloaded the newest version of KSJC, San Jose, CA scenery for San Jose - Norman Y. Mineta International airport in California. I
completed a flight on an American MD80 from SNA. I checked the scenery before the flight and everything was working. I flew the flight
which took about an hour in real time. As I was told to turn right heading 305 I lined up with the runway, flaps full and I saw the scenery
was working fine. The new AFCAD files assign the airlines to their own gate. After I landed, I proceeded to the American gates where
there were 4 other airplanes there. 2 757's 1 MD80 and one 737. As I pulled in, I made sure I didn't hit anything so I don't get a building
collision. Well thats what happened even though I was careful and I didn't hit anything, it says there was a building collision anyway. I
think its because the default building is where the jetway is in the new scenery, so when you pull into the gate, its like your taxiing through
the default building. I'm tired of the "Detect crashes" setting. Can someone help me turn this off so it will ignore crashes so I can use the
scenery. Much help appreciated.

PS: Anyone who has Ultimate Traffic, can someone tell me how it is. I just ordered it but I was wondering what was better. What Im using
now which is Traffic 2005 or Ultimate Traffic. Also the SJC scenery is from http://www.flightsim.com. I should be the first item if you type
in, "KSJC"

Thanks again, and I know type A LOT!!!

UT is the BEST AI simulator i have ever used! enjoy it!

Re: Building Collision - Sakakawea - 26-06-2007

Ultimate traffic is really great. But many Callsigns are not known by ATC. Even with EditVoicepack. It's a little pitty. Maybe there's anybody who can
help me? Smile

Back to UT: It includes quite all airlines you find in the real world. The quality of the visual models are not that good but from a distance of maybe
200ft you won't care about it anymore.

Re: Building Collision - boeinglover - 26-06-2007

WOW. Sounds great. Now I have a question, is American Airlines call sign "American" or is is "Merican" like it is in Traffic 2005? Also,
does it take a long time for the CD to arrive. I know there is no way to download it. It comes CD only right?

PS: I got the whole problem worked out with FsP. Now this thred should only be about Traffic 2005. In fact, I'll create one.

Thanks a million!!!

Re: Building Collision - Jambone - 26-06-2007

I think its called American in UT Wink as for the cd - download thing i am unsure.

Anyway, enjoy it!

Cool. Thanks!

Re: Building Collision - xhado13 - 27-06-2007

To answer your question about the building, it goes the same for AI traffic. The collisions in FS are very UN-realistic. You could be like 15 ft away
from an aircraft, and still get a collision. I honestly would just turn off crash detection.
