Got a strange problem with the flight hours - explicit8 - 24-06-2007
hello again. As much as i love this game, it keeps giving me headaches. Now, i have a problem with the flight hours recording. although it
says in pilots records that i have completed 20 hours of flight, it still says i need 12 more hours to pass to the next level (C2). It keeps
saying that after every flight anyone knows why this is happening?

Does it not just say you need 12 hours as oppose to 12 MORE hours? as C2 you require 12 hours.
If you have 20 hours logged, i can only assume you dont have the required points?

hmm you know what? i just completed a flight , i got 400 points 4 hours flight, but it keeps saying i need 12 more hours, and 837 point to
go to next lvl. It always says that , the numbers wont change . strange huh

Nooo,... you don't need 12 MORE hours than the hours you already HAVE. You need 12 hours of flight practice at ALL... you have to collect 12 hours,
also you need an amount of points to proceed to C2. when you are C2, you need 22 hours (I guess) at all and a higher amount of points than you needed
for C2 to become C3.
Your flight time is added and added and added after every flight. The amount of points you have depends on your skills. Success gives you more points,
penalties take points away from you.
And the time and Points you need to gain the next level is just a fix point you have to pass. It doesn't change anytime!

Go to your Pilot Flight Log and then into Pilot Detail from within FS --> FsPassengers menu.
It should look like this:
Pilot's name: E.J. Hunyadi
Birth date: XXXXXXXX
Player name: E.J. Hunyadi
Pilot Status: Active
Actual grade: Commercial Pilot (c1)
Number of flights: 14
Total Pass. carried: 229
Total flight time: 09h58
Total night flight time: 04h05
-Total Jet flight time: 00h00 (night: 00h00)
-Total Turbo flight time: 09h58 (night: 04h05)
-Total Prop flight time: 00h00 (night: 00h00)
Bonus points: 3490
Penalty points: -600
Total points: 2890
Promotion: You need 12 flying hours and 2335 points to proceed to the next level. (c2)
Notice that it says I need 12 flying hours to proceed to the next level. I currently have 9h58m towards that 12 hours. Check your Pilot Detail and it
should provide similar information. The total needed to proceed to the next level is not the difference between your hours and the required hours.

actual grade: Private pilot (c1)
aircraft certificate: single engine prop less than 1500 kg
number of flights 9
total pass. carried: 15
TOTAL FLIGHT TIME: 20h44*
total night flight time: 6h06
bonus points 450
penalty points-50
total points 400*
promotion : you need 12h and 837 points to proceed to the next level c2*
now heres the FsP rank info:
00h00 student pilot(c0)
5h00 private pilot(c1)
12h00 Instrument rating pilot (2)***
NOW SHOULDNT I BE A C2 Rating pilot since i already have 20h44 flight time? Im close to be C3 rating pilot how come it still says i m
c1 ?

You don't have the 837 points to make it to c2.
Once you get the points, you will be promoted. There are two requirements for each level: hours AND points. You have not yet met the point requirements.

oh and - can someone please tell me why movie keys wont work? i cant get a movie to play when i click "Ctrl+shift+O" am i doint
something wrong? actually even Ctrl+shift+H keys for hot food wont work either....

Have u seen in a single engine prop hostesses giving you hot food, drinks and with a movie ?
Start thinking and read FAQ, u'll have less questions

some time if you use an addon that requires shift+ctrl+h you wont b able to use it , so u need to go to the fspassengers list in the alt menue and
choose service on board then serve hot food

Or maybe the service is on automatic, you can't start it manually either then
