well it amused me anyway. - Daza XIII - 08-06-2007

Started a flight then had a phone call meaning I had to go out so decided I’d have a quick aerobatic session just for fun.
Loops, spins, barrel rolls, broke the sound barrier and finally spread myself across the landscape (inverted) at 600 knots killing all
aboard.
Really amuses me that after all that one of the complaints was that the inflight movie. Smile

Passenger Opinion: Terror and grief. (0%)
-Hated that they did not see the entire movie. Wonder
-Were in a better mood because they had food.
-Didn't like your inverted flying. (179°)
-Were terrified by the excess G-forces. (+12.31 -9.52).
-Didn't like that some passengers started flying around the cabin caused by your negative G flying.
-Didn't like your acrobatic flight (repeated G-forces).
-Were angry because some passengers were badly injured.
-Were terrified by the last dive before the crash.

thats what a stunt plane is for

Re: well it amused me anyway. - poden - 11-06-2007

You'd think the food would be a problem when combined with the aerobatics.

This is classic! But, the afterlife being as it is, I guess not seeing the end of a movie would be something that would make most ghosts angry. It's
not like they ghost movie theaters... or do they?

Re: well it amused me anyway. - ragingfred - 25-06-2007

anyways wouldn't those G-forces rip apart your plane

I just experienced an engine flame out... great... I switched off the autopilot, managed the hydraulics and pneumatics, called out a mayday, set the
squak to 7700, switched on the seat belt signs, blablablabla... I thought at EVERYTHING... I descended to an airport 80 miles straight ahead... reset
the altimeter to 3012 inches which was told by ATIS... I landed with 10 knots tailwind, touched down with -83 ft/min, everybody was happy, me too... I
ended the flight and was looking forward the huge amound of points that would make me become C13...

What the hell is that??????? Grrr

As I use to fly with real world weather with actualizing every 15 minutes the airport altitude just changed after I reset the altimeter... -300 Points
or worse (I don't know anymore) due to a wrong altimeter setting.... Rant

That's one of the penalties you can disable. I did due to this very sort of problem.

Re: well it amused me anyway. - boeinglover - 30-06-2007

I was on a flight once and they started the movie to late and we missed about the last 45 minutes of it. Suprising with such a good saftey
record, not that it matters, and being so reliable, you would think ATA could get at least a 2hr movie right. It didn't really matter anyway.
Everyone was enjoying watching the approaching Hawaiian Islands. I was going to Maui, just in case you were wondering.
