I love that plane ![]() Re: Pics from WT2 Erfurt to Rotterdam - pegase - 04-06-2007 Thanks for your feedback fellows This plane is not a celebrity although it had a quite long career between 1948 and 1972. This FS2004 freeware is very nice but a bit tricky to fly. There is "something somewhere" to do to get full PA function. In some 6 flights, Once I had all functionalities (alt, heading, nav). Otherwise, just the nav function was available. This make things quite difficult as any wind change, turbulence or heading change mess up the trim balance and then it is quite a job to restore a constant altitude and speed. The performances are slightly below what they should be. The theory gives Maximum cruising speed............225 knots Long range cruising speed.............185 knots Ceiling………………..………….24,000 feet Best climb speed………………130 Knots It is OK with the climb speed but wrong with the cruise. At 16000 feet, the overspeed threshold is at 170 kts. Or perhaps even less, during last flight I am almost sure I was always below 165 kts, did not get overspeed warning but however had the -600 pens ![]() Perhaps some ;air tweaking specialists can help me how to restore the theorical specs above ? Re: Pics from WT2 Erfurt to Rotterdam - DSW334 - 04-06-2007 Nice Pics Pierre.. Especially those black and white. They give an extra dimension to the use of "oldies" ![]() Re: Pics from WT2 Erfurt to Rotterdam - DBE - 04-06-2007 Great stuff Pierre! ![]() Re: Pics from WT2 Erfurt to Rotterdam - Canada_Boy - 04-06-2007 Very nice screenies ![]() Cool prop too, what is it's range?
