Am I going to get an overspeed penalty? - Overrated - 17-05-2007 The wind likes to glitch up unrealistically, so I edited several planes to have a high max mach speed. I was doing a flight just now, and while it was paused, it hit mach .87, and the max was mach .86. When I unpaused, it was mach .86. I just reloaded the plane where I set it to mach .89, but I don't know if it's going to hit me with an overspeed penalty. It's a long flight (6 hours) and I'd rather not have this ruin it because FS2004 brings 40 more knots of wind within 5 seconds. Thanks. Re: Am I going to get an overspeed penalty? - Valoran - 18-05-2007 It depends on what you edited the max indicated speed to. If you have gone over the max indicated speed, even for a split second, enough to sound the warning and put the little red "oops-box" on screen, you will get docked for overspeed. |
