FsP Worldtour config file - jkronber - 03-05-2007
Hey everyone,
I joined the world tour a few days ago and still haven't been able to get a hold of anyone about getting the new config file for season 2. I
tried on the forum in the other website, but no responses yet
. I've never done this kind of activity before, but i'm an avid FS and FsP fan, so i thought it would be a lot of fun, and I'd like to start flying as soon as possible
. Any thing I need to know procedural wise on how this works.....the rule book looked kind of sparse and i've been reading through the forum topics to get as much info as i can. thanks a lot!

Just send a PM to DBE and Im sure he will send you the config as fast as he possibly can

I don't even know what the config file or the FSinn thing does. Do you have to manually upload your flights, so that I can start now and
load them later when I get the file, or do I have to wait until I get the whole shabang?

Ah ok, The Config file DBE gives you will enable you to upload your flights, all you have to do is drop it in the same folder as your FSP va
file. Then in your FSP tab it will say Upload flight to VA go to that and click World tour.
Don't worry, first time I tried uploading flights I screw'd it up
FSinn, enables you to fly online. It is relatively easy to figure out too.
And yes you can fly legs now, and upload 'em when you get the config.

I'm installing FSinn 1.2, and it's asking for my callsign, vatsim password, and things like that. What does that mean?

so i think i installed FS copilot 1.6 and FSinn 1.2 correctly, but ATC doesn't work (when i push the ~ button, the window doesn't pop up for
clearance or any of that). Did i do something wrong?

If you are connect to to FSINN then there is nothing wrong. the MS default ATC will not work during online sessions. You may want to try
out Radar Contact 4. That will work, but it is payware..

Just to add, if your doing the full world tour, starting from the start, you can start flying now, and upload the flights you have done once Mark

Thanks for all your help guys! I started the first leg last night.....flew with a 737 and only had 15 minutes of fuel left in the tanks. Talk about
calling it close! I guess go with the bigger plane huh? Lol. Today was a good day.....finished my undergrad career at Purdue
University

remember you dont have to do the flights in order.
EG, tomorrow you can fly the online flight with us, and then go back to doing the flights you have missed

what's the difference between flying online and not? When online, do we all start at the same time? Last time I tried to be online, I
couldn't talk to ATC with the ~ key and it was slightly frustrating.
