Flight Time - ConcordeOne - 17-02-2007

Does flight duration affect points and cash rewarded? If I flew a 100nm route in my altitude Concorde would I be penalized? Does the
length of a flight affect the type and level of passengers that buy tickets? Is there anything I should be aware of running the Altitude
Concorde with FsPassengers? Thanks!

Re: Flight Time - Drew - 17-02-2007

Welcome

You dont have flaps in concorde, so you will need to disable the flap penalty

Pax buying tickets mainly depends on company rep, but also how many times you have departed from the location.
The flight duration does affect the amount you make, the longer distance you fly (up to around 3000nm) the more money you will make. Short flight will
mean less money.

If your flight is under 10minutes, the pax wont be happy, so make sure your in sky for more than 10 minutes.

Drew,

Thanks for the info. Do noise abaitment procedures affect points?

Re: Flight Time - Drew - 17-02-2007

Nope, your fine with noise.

Also just thought, i think i have read on here that concorde exceeds the 250kt under 10000ft, so if thats the case, you will also have to disable the
250kt limit penalty also

Cheers. A faultless supersonic flight is a long way off but its going to be a lot of fun getting there! I've noticed some of the fuel tanks
cannot be used for altering fuel distribution. Of the 11 tanks I think only 4 or 5 can be used. Are these unlocked in the full version?

Re: Flight Time - Wing Commander Bader - 17-02-2007

Where can I download a decent freeware Concorde? One that works properly, I had one once for FS2002 but it was very hard to fly on autopilot at high
altitudes.

Re: Flight Time - Wally - 18-02-2007

I think a decent Concorde can be found on FSFrance, I am not sure if that is the exact name, cos I had some troubles finding it aswell. Its
really good actually, but the website is in French (could maybe be changed in to English?) so be carefull with that!

Project Mach 2 by FSFrance

I think there is another one somewhere but I've never used it
