aircraft without flaps - Nigel Edwards - 17-01-2007

Hello folks,

I'm running a classic charter firm and want to acquire a rather nice Handley-Page biplane (HP42). The aircraft does not have flaps only
automatic leading edge slats. My question is will I get penalised for not setting flaps for take-off and landing Fool ?

Any suggestions?

Best wishes

Nige

Yes you will get penalized unless you disable the flaps penalty in the FsP Options file. FsP will recognise the deployment of the leading
edge slats but nailing the 55 MPH deployment/retraction speeds before becoming airborne or before touchdown is not easy to nail every
time.
