FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #9) - DBE - 10-01-2007

Following last year's successful world tour, the 2nd season of the FSP World Tour is well underway.

The following legs have already been completed:

- Isla San Felix [SCFX] - Easter Island [SCIP]
- Easter Island - Totegegie, Gambier Island [NTGJ]
- Totgegie, Gambier Island - Bora Bora [NTTB]
- Bora Bora- Rarotonga [NCRG]
- Rarotonga - Pago Pago [NSTU]
- Pago Pago - Nadi Intl [NFFN]
- Nadi Intl- Nauru Intl [ANAU]
- Nauru Intl - Honiaira [AGGH]
- Honiara - Port Moresby [AYPY]]

The next online flight, Port Moresby [AYPY] to Hamilton Island [YBHM], will take place on Thursday, Jan 11 @ 20:00 UTC.

ok folks.. don't be shy.. just register over at fspworldtour.com.. Online flying is real fun. Half of the pilots are looking for Otto, the co-pilot,
while the other half is looking for some serious laughing. lol

And it's always fun to see an A380 landing on a small airstrip that is only intended for small props Wink

I must stay that I'm astonished with the response so far: a 20th participant has just completed Leg #1!!

And new participants are still signing up and (more importantly) consequently submitting their flights.

And as far as Otto is concerned: I'm delighted to have noticed that he's been hired by Joeflyer! He still owes me an aircraft though (hope to find
the time to update my FSPWT Recon Flights screenshots within the near future: it tells the whole story... Wink

It's good to see more participation in the world tour Top

I might even offer up another contest for the Lukla leg..maybe the winner would
get a gift certificate to Flightsim.com's pilot shop(that is if they offer such a thing...I'll check into it). I'm thinking that the proposed winner
would be the one who:
A) Uses real-time weather
B) Performs the flight ONLINE
C) Has the best landing at Lukla and SURVIVES

I may come up with other ideas about this, so stay tuned. Maybe DBE can offer up more great ideas since this will likely be the most
difficult leg of the tour.

Regarding "other" contests, there actually is another one in the pipeline, but I'm not sure if it's sponsor is still participating in the World Tour..

I know which contest you're speaking of and haven't heard anymore about it either. I thought the Lukla leg would be an interesting one to
hand out a prize for. Just another incentive for peeps to get involved in the tour Smile
