passenger incident report - jones danby - 02-07-2005
hi all,...
my question is,...
when i have a crash ,...and not all passengers dead,..: is the passenger report exact ?with the names of dead passengers...with the
name list of passengers?
EXAMPLE. plane crasched
4 passengers from 30 dead
dead list : 1 Karl marlow
2 Jeniffer dildo
3 Willy Will
4 Porter Fungati
etc.-------------
and can i make self a new passenger list before we make the flight?
it is urgently for the virtual airlines,.and the virtual passenger movement,...virtual passenger and travel agency

I didn't include that for a good reason:
I'm ok with a crash report that say : "injury: 54 fatality: 34" while it remain anonymous...
howewer in the passengers list there is also family with kids and this:
*child name* age 8 deceased
*child name* age 2 deceased
is for me the limit... as a father myself I don't find this really cool.
Of course we can discuss, "come on you have already the number of passengers dead etc etc why not the list ?"
I personnaly think that there is a limit to everything and mine stop before seeing kids name in the fatalities list...
hope it make sense ?

but ,..is it than not to much when you have in the incident report..kids and family? extra sorted
make it with age, and it is not so big this problem,..real or more real...at go.? fakt is ,the simulation of passenger lists is real if you have
the names of incidents. sorry< i think it is a strategy and pilot fun programm,..not a shooter.
in real i have too incidents..in all ages,...
..why not make real , it is more fun for the VA.of the world...we can make a level ..with non child flights,..but that is not real..or you must
make a level with age-classified flights...
this i fun this disscussion....idea and ideas....but why not?

the problem with having a detailed report on peoples deaths due to plane crashes would be the random name generator. What I meen is if FSPassangers
generates the passanger list using a random name generator, then it could be quite possible that a name generated could relate to an actual person
alive or dead. Even more distressing is the fact that they migt of even suffered some incident with planes are losing a loved one in a accident.
I know the event of such a thing is unlikely but it could happen and some people would take great offence to having there name on a VA airlines site
saying they was dead due to a plane crash. Films have that little quote in the end credits that say all people and events depicted in this motion
picture are purely fictional and have no relation to anyone alive or deceased. Thats in the credits for the sole purpose of not getting sued by
familys that might be able to relate to what ever the films about. I know its unlikely to happen to FSPassangers but would it really be worth dan
taking the risk?
I play another sim called silent hinter 3. Its about german uboats during the second world war. One of the things that was requested to be added to
the sim during development was the ability to be able to machine gun life boats that were escaping from burning ships. Although a very few Uboat
commanders actually did this it did happen. The devs flatly refused to add ths feature because it would not be moraly(sp?) correct. I personaly
think they did the right thing by not adding this feature.
I'm all for realism in my sims but sometimes you just have to cut back slightly before it gets too real.

FsPassengers is a "pilot simulator", maybe an "airline manager simulator"... definitively NOT a "coroner simulator".
Of course, in real life a detailed list of casualties is made... but I don't think that a pilot responsible for the death of dozens of passengers
would be SO interested in knowing all the names and the ages. "Look, how cool, I killed exactly 23 complete families!"
No, thanks. Maybe in future versions the detail level of FSP will be even more increased... but not this way!

Sure we might keep that for another add on: "Autopsy 3.0"
About name list I did found a lot of material related to accident on internet during my research,
I even found the record of black box cockpit voice just before crash (hearing the pilot's yelling or
calling name just before a loud sound were you know it died is frightening to say the less)
howewer I never found passengers name list, only anonymous casualties report... it should be possible
on some "remembrance" page but not on aviation related page...

a lot of movies show people getting killed all the time and yet we dont seem to have a problem with that?

Beside, we DO have a problem with 'that' - haven't you noticed people don't react to their concious any more?
I'm 35 and have been trough the wars in Croatia and Central Bosnia. Luckily as an interpreter - haven't fired a bullet. And I tell you it makes
me puke when I see the brats that on one side want to 'get involved' in war-like games and such and on the other switch the chanell when
there's a documentary or a report on real human sufferings cause 'they can't take it'! And I'm talking about my war-stricken country!
There's simply no more decency any more.

Anyone who has "seen" an aircraft accident, or one being blown out of the sky, would think this entire notion about including a deceased manifest is
completely out of the intent of this hobby in general, and specifically in very poor taste.
I know I do, and I've seen many...up close.

i was in some wars,..i was a paratrooper,..and this discussion going out from the way,...i have not forgotten the feelings in this time,..
but this here was a question ,..question for real simulator...i read all this and cannot copy the problem?!
i mean that is wrong ,.. the first failure was the passenger list with names in this program.to make ,and the next question is,..as one can
enjoy about which one killed that or the passenger or not.
this idea is total ill.virtual travel agencies provide also passenger lists.here to make I find a restriction completely exaggerated
gives a virtual travel office a passenger list with fictitious names to a VA..and it happens in the fs-2004 a crasch..why one cannot indicate
the survivors?the discussion becomes somewhat sensitives,...is it a simlation with real character or not?
I think we should the topic terminate here,before still someone thinks, one can plan a war with the simulator.
stopt the wars in this world! mine talk...it interests only nobody.

I agree that it is important to leave names out of the list after a crash. It would really not add anything of value to the game and it is
sufficient to say that XX number of people perished.
My thoughts anyway...

I also agree. No need to mention the names... it's bad enough that you killed them you don't need to have names engraved in your memory and then meet
them on the street... that's enough to drive you crazy!

the incicent report is okay with a anonym number of incidents,...
but ,..the name of the pilot is areal name,..how many deads can i living,..? have i crash must i read ..my name in the dead list......tzzzz

i thing we have with FSpassenger a real simulator add on ..a new dimension od reality in the fs-2004 world.
,......people simulated kill do not want to do with fspassenger.for this is enough space in shooter..plays.
I do not think it should be so sensitive.
make a report in the passenger list with the incidents...and you have more responsibility in the next flight. make the incidents list not with
names, the number of peoples is enough.
but,...the virtual travel agencys..can not work with that sensitive thing.
virtual security companys..whta work hand in hand in the simulator world have than a break. for futur things is that bad.the reality is taken
there.
lock the programm SIMS..1-.....you have real names and familys. real live is simulated,..in all facettes,...and have you a housefire..is your
family dead,..and that with real names and persons,....the GAME is for KIDS ..under 16,..
what is thus right yet..??
a crazy theme,...
fly< with a special name list of passengers and have more realistic and responsibility in your flight...?
or<...make all the names out from this and play in a kids world under 6 age,..??

next question...whats the names of passengers ...?? .
how are the NAMES of the passengers, who are not unpunctual at this flight?
which seat takes who..??
a woman becomes a baby..the flight must be broken off or between landed..=?
to her see a delimitation of the reality in this ADD ON,..a delimitation brings for that develops the ADD ons.
virtual co-operation with virtual travels companies would be out set.
