demo - LukeJGerst - 01-07-2005

I'm not going to use it for long, just curious, but how does it work? When you land elsewhere from KSFO, are you stuck, or does the
program warp your plane back to KSFO? Wonder

Re: demo - DanSteph - 01-07-2005

first let me point somes details:

when you are not in a "FsP flight" FsP is totally inactive.. nothing run during your flight
so you don't have ATC, crew or any feature that FsP offer.

So you must set FS2004 and your aircraft ready for departure (black cockpit or not, doesn't matter)
as you do usually before a flight with at least Parking brake set and then you must "start the FSP flight"

Once started you benefit of all FsP features, failures , atc , crew sound etc etc.
At arrival you must "end the FsP flight" this will bring you the final report
and the choice to register this flight.

With unregistered copy of FsP you can't start a FSP flight outside san-francisco area,
that's all. Once the flight started you can land anywhere. If you want to start another flight later
you must first bring back your aircraft to SF area...

hope it answer ?

Re: demo - JaWood - 01-07-2005

Ah, that makes sense.

Now I have a question. When you say, "San Fransisco area", will the demo only let you turn it on at SFO, or can you fly out of other bay area
airports? (Oakland, San Jose, Half Moon bay, etc...)

Re: demo - djsebx - 01-07-2005

You have to takeoff from KSFO or another airport near KSFO which I don't remember neither name or ICAO Smile.

Then you can fly and land wherever you want including a long haul to Amsterdam Schipol or Sydney in Australia !

Re: demo - DBE - 02-07-2005

Just a question: why do demos mostly happen to originate from KSFO?

Is there a technical reason, or is KSFO simply simmers' airport of choice (in which case wouldn't it be more apropriate to have demos start in, let's
say, Djibouti or Vladivodstok? Wink).

Re: demo - DanSteph - 02-07-2005

this question puzzle me.... Wonder

1 years ago I simply thought about where to start and found KSFO....

to tell you exactly why I can't - powerful is the force

The FORCE ?!? wow

All this time I thought it was the Gin & Tonic.

Re: demo - Captain - 15-07-2005

SFO is my main hub so I will try the demo. I have heard so many good things about FS passengers.
