No particular reason... - Wally - 05-11-2006

There is no real particular reason why im posting this, just felt like doing so as i had nothing better to do! (its really about nothing, just
dont get mad at me for posting it!!!) Wink lol

Well i just performed a flight from Schiphol to Bankok Intl. with my 747 and after making a cr*ppy landing on runway 21R and turned onto
the taxiway ATC asked me to contact ground, so i did. I waited to get the optoin to ask to go to gate. And i waited... nothing came up, not
even to go to parking! Oh well, that doesnt matter i'll just look for a free space somewhere, so i went taxiing around... but every spot was
taken! Everyhting was either Thai airways, Malaysian, Orbit or Soar with a few others... What no room for me!? Hunappy

Then eventually a plane was just leaving on the parking area, an md-80 i believe it was... I decided to take his spot, and so there i was in
my 747... next to a Cessna! Wonder

Nothing came up because there wasn't any free heavy gate!

Is the bangkok airport an addon? If so it might come with certain bgl's which places static aircrafts here and there leaving less space for your
default ai traffic program. Check for a file (usually in the scenery folder of your addon) with something like 'stat' in the filename, rename the
extention to something like org and try again.

But on the flip side, I bet the Cessna pilot was saying, "look, look! A 747 has just parked next to me!" Wink

I have simflyers JFK and half of the gates are occupied by the static aircrafts!!can i remove them???

Yes, sometimes by a tool supplied with the addon, otherwise like what i wrote above, search for a file with something like 'stat' and ending with
extention bgl Wink

I have no real addon for Bankok Intl. but i do have the airport upgrade 7.... But i dont suppose that has anyhting to do with it, personally i
think its one of those one time bugs or glitches in the game where somehting just goes wrong!
