Very nice.

Except in the "holding short" shot, you're not holding short. You're over the line. Big no no Wink

Lol dont be so picky BadLink.
Is the AI traffic add on payware? Whats the name of the add on that lets you view the passenger seats. Oh and also the one that says
runway ahead.

Re: Rome to Boston (LIRF-KBOS) Screenshots and FSPAX report - TimH - 14-08-2006

1.) I am actually not over the line in that picture. Yes I am over the RWY AHEAD sign, but that is not the line. The holding short line, is the yellow
line. The two full lines nearest me mean that I hold and wait for clearance. If the two dashed lines were on my side, that means I do not have to wait
for clearance, and can go ahead over them. So technically I am holding short, the aircraft is stationary and I am not over the line

2. ) Its not payware AI Traffic. Check out http://www.projectopensky.com. You download each airline seperately, but its free
To view the passengers seats, its part of the Meljet 777-200. To see the seats on the 777 (Meljet) first download the Meljet 777-200. If you have
Active Camera to explore around Virtual Cabins, use that to explore it. If you dont, and dont want to pay for Active Camera, you can use a free
alternative called F1 View Module ( http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=f1view.zip&CatID=root&Go=Search ).
The runway ahead thing is part of the Rome LIRF scenery. You can download the scenery for free here:
http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004scen&DLID=59757 but the scenery only works for Rome and you will not see RWY AHEAD in any other
airports apart from Rome, which is the most detailed freeware scenery out there in my opinion.

I hope this answers your question Smile

Re: Rome to Boston (LIRF-KBOS) Screenshots and FSPAX report - American Jet - 14-08-2006

Do i have to register to get the AI Traffic. Also does it only work with the 777-200 Meljet?

Re: Rome to Boston (LIRF-KBOS) Screenshots and FSPAX report - TimH - 14-08-2006

No the AI traffic is actually nothing to do with the Meljet, works with any planes, it will work in any airport that one of your downloaded airlines
flies to. For example, if you download British Airways, your going to see a load in Heathrow and Gatwick, as well as other UK airports, but your also
going to see some in airports like Rome and Boston and Sydney, but your not going to see any in Lukla for example, or any airport that BA dont fly to.

To download and install these freeware AI, you will first need to download the installer. http://www.projectai.com/official/packages/special.php

Then after you have downloaded that, you can begin choosing what airlines you want to download http://www.projectai.com/official/packages/civil.php

I hope this helps

Re: Rome to Boston (LIRF-KBOS) Screenshots and FSPAX report - alphaone - 15-08-2006

I was under the impression that all of the aircraft had to be behind the line. But I'm not a real pilot yet so I could be mistaken. I'll know in a
couple weeks.

Great screenshots! Oh, what do you use to take the screenshots? Do you use FRAPS/FS Screen or something in that nature? If so, can
you give me the URL link to the website so I can download the program? Thanks in advance!

Re: Rome to Boston (LIRF-KBOS) Screenshots and FSPAX report - Airliner - 15-08-2006

More proof that freeware isn't so bad after all! I have the same - PAI traffic, the water textures, BostonV2, etc. Nice screens! I know the
approach to Rwy 4R very well - well, in the virtual world anyway! Smile

Re: Rome to Boston (LIRF-KBOS) Screenshots and FSPAX report - TimH - 15-08-2006

I use fraps to capture my screenshots, I then use Irfanview to resize them to 800x600 (otherwise it would just be too big to put up on forums)

Alphaone, its not the aircraft itself that has to be on or behind the line, its the front wheels (nose gear) that have to be on or behind the line to
hold short of the runway. In the screenshot above, my nose wheels is behind it (slightly on it as well, but that is ok, as long as the front
nosewheels does not reach the dashed lines, or beyond them).

Thanks for the nice comments guys Smile

Re: Rome to Boston (LIRF-KBOS) Screenshots and FSPAX report - Joshuah A. Wetzel - 15-08-2006

Do you have the registered version of FRAPS or do you use the demo?

Re: Rome to Boston (LIRF-KBOS) Screenshots and FSPAX report - TimH - 15-08-2006

I have the registered version (for videos), but the way I take screenshots the free version would do

First, I take them in BMP format. (yes the size will be big, but I convert them down)

Then after my flight and I have a folder of about 10 or so BMPs, I open each one with IrfanView (freeware), convert them to 800x600 and save them as
jpegs.

Then I upload them to photobucket, and then post them here Smile
