When you are taking off and your co-piolt says rotate what do you do?

Re: Rotate? - alphaone - 11-08-2006

You rotate Smile aka take off.

When you take off you rotate the plane on the axis of the wheels which are on the ground.

Re: Rotate? - Sovek - 11-08-2006

thats when you pull back on the stick. (or yolk) and start climbing.

Morning,

V1....Being rejection speed.

VR...Lifting the nose gear off the runway slighty.

V2...Flying speed.

For my CRJ loads most of the time I set the following speeds which FO Otto will call out (most of the time). V1 125, VR 130 and V2 135.

Rotate is pulling back on the stick to get the plane to come off the ground.
