What your favourite and most profitable long haul aircraft?

I need suggestions for the most profitable aircraft for a flight about the distance from London to Singapore

I don't really have one in FSP. I'd go with a 777 if I were to do the long routes though. I've pretty much stayed with Bush flying and round-the-world
hopping in turboprops and piston planes. Here's some steps for increasing revenue:

1) Get a "hub airport" established. This is done automatically by routing a number of flights to/from a single airport (like Heathrow, Gatwick, etc).
Just use a few short flight to do this. Once you have a "hub" (after say 4-5 flights to/from), OUTGOING flights from that hub will have a very high %
of their capacity filled.

2) Try to burn less fuel. Use step climbs to the most efficient altitudes on long-range flights as the plane gets lighter.

3) Wait awhile and do some shorter haul flights until your reputation gets higher. As your reputation goes up, your % capacity utilized goes up.

4) Finally, of course, you can raise prices.

I think the B777 and A330 are supposed to be the most efficient airliners out there, with the A340 just about as good. I'm not 100% sure of that
though; a lot of the other poster here probably know more about that than me. I'm not sure how the A380 is supposed to compare either. The 787 is
supposed to be more efficient yet, but it won't be as long ranged as a 777.

So far, the PDMG 747-400 is my most profitable long haul plane because that's the only long-haul aircraft I have flown

Glider.

I have the space shuttle tow me up and then cut me loose.

Small fee for the tow cable - no fuel burned. Smile

the best long haul flight i did was with a lufthansa A340-600, hard to land but i made a smooth one

I fly a boeing 767-400 for long hauls. They are very good on fuel.

I started using Captain Sim's B727-200 to do my long hauls. Have been somewhat surprised that the aircraft is burning less fuel than I
had thought it would burn. On flights of more than 2 hours, I can generate over 3 mil. on a one-way flight....and that is taking into account
of loading just enough fuel with 45 mins. fuel reserves as per FAA regs. for IFR flight.

Since I just added Captain Sim's B 757 package, I am going to utilize it for longer routes...of course once I have enough $$ in the
company coffers to purchase the darn thing Well At any rate, I am enjoying using CS 727. It is such a detailed aircraft. Plus, there is no
auto land capability on this aircraft, so after I get established on the localizer via the autopilot, I disengage it and hand fly the approach to
landing. I know, I know...that was a bit off the subject, but the Captain Sim product closely mirrors the real aircraft in every flight parameter
and makes for a far more realistic flight. Currently I am able to haul 119 passengers and over 11,000 pounds of cargo with a 94%
reputation. Not too shabby for a FSPassengers "short-timer". Beer
