[ Forum Improvement ] Paging system - DanSteph - 24-04-2006
Hello All,
long thread where a pain to read especially with images.
I have modified the forum so now with thread exceeding 20 post you
can see at the bottom buttons to navigate beetween pages
and also button in the thread list for practial access to the last page.
I have set one page to 20 post, let me know if you find any bug, odd things
or if you think this number must be increased or reduced.

This is a great addition, good work! Although I must say the cellborders around the page numbers are a bit dishelving in terms of style.

For beeing a user and contributor of those heavy long threads, I can only tell
Could be another way to save time and bndwidth: Most often, we go directly to the last posts of known threads. So what about listing the
posts making a thread in date DESCENDING order ?

it's the look that you don't like ? the border should be 1px blue navy

Natural reading order is top-bottom, I never saw a forum that is reversed so I bet
nobody would understand

Possible, anyway, as the last page number can directly be called from the forum list, it is now very quick to get the
end of the thread.

Looks good. Would be nice to have the page numbers on the top part of the thread as well? So we don't have to scroll all the way down just to choose
another page.

I am using Mozilla/Firefox and for some reason they don't render quite as nicely as they do in IE. (But they do look fantastic in Internet explorer so

is there now something missing from the bottom left at the end of the post, im sure i use to click something there
but cant work it out.
it didnt have
home > forum > FsPassengers General
or such down the bottom before did it?

There was "forum list" not very usefull as "back button" often do the same job
and when you visit a forum you mostly whant be back in thread list.
On the right I replaced the completely useless "next thread/previous thread"
by "return to thread list" more usefull. (when you visited 3-4 page
you have to hit 4 time back button to come back to thread list)
