Flight Sim Forum - Eskimo - 08-06-2005

Flight Sim Forum is now open for everyone that wants a friendly relaxed forum to talk about anything to do with flight simulation or
aviation. I am currently looking for moderators, preferably those people who can bring as many new people to the forum as possible and
make it one of the best on the web.

Re: Flight Sim Forum - Shane Herbel - 10-06-2005

Nothing like a site with an annoying pop-up.
Good start to a relaxing forum.

Re: Flight Sim Forum - Robjos - 10-06-2005

Yes .tk used to be really good for providing great domain names for free. But sadly they now have gone a bit over the top with the
advertising. A cheap domian like .info cost about $4 a year and would save people from the annoying popups. Also you could place a
simple bar of google ads on your page if you wanted to generate the $4 back. The Google Adsense system does work quite well and the
ads are not too intrusive.

Does that mean you're going to sign up?

Re: Flight Sim Forum - Deacon - 11-06-2005

Yeah, put Google all over it and see how much malware starts popping up it's ugly head.

Is there some reason to advertise someone else's forum over here? Just curious.

Re: Flight Sim Forum - Big Vern - 11-06-2005

It always used to be considered bad "netiquette" to tout for other forums on another board.

MSFS is quite well served at present by the product specific boards, those at Just Flight and of course Grand Moff Nels over at
Flightsim.com. More than enough to be keeping tabs on.

Re: Flight Sim Forum - Shane Herbel - 16-06-2005

I think we are friendly and relaxed here.
How more friendly can we be here.
You got a programmer that will give you all the time he can spare to answer your questions.
You got friendly regulars that don't claim they know everything, but will help if they do know.
You got Beta testers helping to answer any other questions.
What more could you want?
As far as I'm concerned I am signed up with the best thing going for FS.

Thats until someone comes up with FsNakedStewerdess, then I'm out of here.
No letter, no phone call, just gone...

Re: Flight Sim Forum - rfbarber - 16-06-2005

Gotta get that right or your neck will get stiff .......... Up

Re: Flight Sim Forum - Shane Herbel - 17-06-2005

LMFAO, One tit is not aligned. I love it ... ("Responce Of The Year " nominee).

Well Dan I suggest you get back to work and don't resurface until you get it right.
Having one tit out of alignment could send thousands of pilots into chaos. Especially
those pilots that would be using the "virtual titty" as an artificial horizon. I log this
as a "hot bug".
