Fleet income! - marvin81 - 06-04-2006

Hello folks,

i would like to know, how i can increased my fleet income.
Atm it is zero.

I have already two pilots.
Now i want to fly a second aircraft. I would like to buy the same ac again, cause i want 2 Mooneys.
FS Passengers said: I already bougt this aircraft. But i want 2 of them!!!

How can i arranged, that my second pilot will fly for me, when i fly for myself with the first pilot?

Do i need just a second pilot, just a second aircraft or both?

Plz explain it to me!

Thanks! Smile

You actually don't need a second pilot, you just need more aircraft. Each time you make a flight, a "fleet bonus" is added, providing you had a good
flight with the airplane you flew. Your "named" pilots only accumulate flight hours when you personally fly them.

You can only have one plane of a given type and "paint". To get a second airplane of the same type, choose one with a different "paint", or create
your own additional "paint". You don't actually have to "repaint" the aircraft texture, you can just copy the current one and change its name in the
aircraft.cfg file.

I don't think fleet bonus is covered very well in the FAQ, but check the FAQ for other questions, and also read the help/info for FSP.

Page 8 of the manual:

Quote:Fleet income is solely intended to reward you for building a fleet. For each flight that you fly, each aircraft that you own will generate some
additional revenue based on your flight performance. These are not real flights made by these aircraft or by “AI” pilots. If you perform well,
you will get a higher fleet income; if you perform poorly, you will have no fleet income. In addition, FsP takes the state of your other aircraft
into account and you will not receive an income from an aircraft that is in bad condition or in need of maintenance.

I downloaded a free version from a cessna 206 with 6 seats. Unfortunaley FS passenger says, i have just 4 seats.
Thats bad, coz i want to earn more money with bigger aircrafts. but im just c1 Pilot atm.

Can u recommned me a SEP aircraft with more than 3 passnger seats?

Thanks!

cheers

There is a Cherokee 6 (6-seater) you can download from Simviation, or AVSIM, and a Cessna 210. Other 6-seaters I have used in the past are the
Extra-400 and Piper Malibu Mirage. You'll have to do google search to find those. I have found the panels on a lot of these planes to be very
dissatisfying, however, and did a lot fixing before I used them.

There are also single-engine 8-seat aircraft you can use as well. Mike Stone has a Gippsland Airvan (see http://www.pmstone.com), and there is a DHC-2
Beaver you can download from Avsim, Simviation, or WSPilots ( http://www.wspilots.com ). You'll need to find or make a payload model for these.

The problem with the 206 is probably that there isn't a payload model, in which case it defaults to a 4-seat "generi" payload model. Read the manual,
FAQ, and stickied messages for info on building your own payload model. A lot of payload models are also available on the "More Downloads" link in
this forum.

Re: Fleet income! - marvin81 - 07-04-2006

Thank you, for your tips!
I founded a payload model for 206 stationair in download-sections!

But the DHC-2 Beaver isnt a 8-seat aircraft, just 6 seats. The Airvan gippsland is also a 6-seat.

Thx

Does the size of your other aircrafts affects the fleet income`?

Yes. Both the size and how many planes you got, affects the fleet income.

The Gippsland has 6 seats? If you look at it close, especially with Active Camera, it looks like it only has four seats, including the pilot's!
