you just keep finding new things with this program :D - Drew - 23-03-2006 Just set the pax to load, thought i would put some music on for them while they were loading and.... Ah captain, thats not going to work until we activate the avionics master switch well thats me told ![]() ![]() Re: you just keep finding new things with this program :D - ivo - 23-03-2006 Yeah, my copilot said that I while ago. The pax were loaded into the LevelD 767 but the cockpit was cold and dark, so I didn't want them to get bored just sitting around while I was starting the plane. I tried to play music but my copilot informed me to turn on the master avionics switch. Re: you just keep finding new things with this program :D - XM DUDE - 23-03-2006 this is a great program, I will have to base out of DCA to rack up points as it is 50 extra points for a dangerious airport. Re: you just keep finding new things with this program :D - WBHoenig - 23-03-2006 I've had that a few times... Re: you just keep finding new things with this program :D - DBE - 23-03-2006 Can't say I ever did.. But then, who would ever think of playing music w/o any power? Unless you were piloting a Hooters a/c and had happened to dish out a couple of banjos to the flight attendants. ![]() Re: you just keep finding new things with this program :D - ivo - 23-03-2006 I didn't think that FsP detected whether power was ON or OFF. Re: you just keep finding new things with this program :D - fruitfly - 24-03-2006 I guess Drew got used to pushing the pedals, so he completely forgot about electricity! ![]() Re: you just keep finding new things with this program :D - runibl - 24-03-2006 I have had that a few times as well with the Level-D 767. Re: you just keep finding new things with this program :D - Ryanamur - 24-03-2006 It's all in the manual guys! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: you just keep finding new things with this program :D - LuckyT21 - 24-03-2006 I have only downloaded this three days ago, and WOW.............. What an add on. thanks guys. My flight sim now has a whole new level. ![]() Re: you just keep finding new things with this program :D - Airliner - 25-03-2006 Some of the messages kill me. I mean, I remapped everything and if I don't have my keycard out, I sometimes forget what does what. The other day, I meant to check the inflight report and I declared an emergency! DOH! Never dialed it in on the XPNDR but everyone braced anyway! I also love the very technical and detailed responses of the co-pilot. Once, I was climbing too steeply and almost stalled. Co-pilot said, "What are you doing?" Gee, sounds like someone was reviewing the ATC tapes of that flight that went down in the everglades! "Ah, how are you guys doing up there?" Instead of, "You're dropping like a brick!" Or that classic AA DC10 crash. The plane's left engine went flying OFF the wing and the controllers asked, "Do you want to come back and what runway?" How about, "You're engine is bouncing down the tarmac!" What a freak thing that was - a bent mount due to hydraulic fluid leaking from a forklift while changing the engine. NTSB gets a lot of credit for tracking that down. TANGENT! Then there was the time I tried to serve food instead of playing music. "Sorry, we can't do that on the ground." :D I DO love the effects when you blow the door above TA! I did that once without knowing what to expect and my wife almost hit the ceiling! "What was that?!" she said. :D Re: you just keep finding new things with this program :D - Jetsgo - 25-03-2006 If you dig up all the sound files for FSP you can hear them all  Re: you just keep finding new things with this program :D - Drew - 25-03-2006 Quote:Jetsgo wrote: Yes i could do, but that also spoils the fun and the suprise of hearing something new |
