FsPassengers and Active Sky - DaveHagen - 04-05-2020

Good morning/afternoon/evening,

I noticed this issue or logic or what it is: After departure I experienced servere turbulence above Copenhagen, and there was no way to get around it (I didn't know anything about the turbulence), and then the co-pilot in FsPassengers kept complaining about G-forces, and when everything calmed down on a certain altitude the cabin crew called me "drunk", "stupid" or "both", and I use active sky. So wanted to know, what is the logic behind this? Or has this to do with the fact Active Sky wasn't a thing when FsPassengers started? Oh and by the way, I am sorry if this doesn't belong there

No, Dave, this doesn't belong in FSX General forum for a good reason. It's not FSX specific. It's a FsP specific question that relates to Active Sky.
It appears you should have started AS before FSX in order to calm the winds issue. Otherwise, you are subject to the default winds that FSX injects...which are horrendous for ANY flight. Yes, you rolled the dice with default winds and got them. Wink

I think Joe is right. I use both programs all the time and never have that problem.
