FsPassengers not showing up in FSX MENU - emopajamas - 04-05-2020
was having problems with fspassengers after installing a 3rdparty addon that crashed fspax and wouldn't allow fsx to reopen uninstall fspax and reinstall it it says successfully installed but doesn't show up in the menu so I uninstalled fsx and fspax and reinstall still nothing so I installed fspax, fsx and steam reinstall them still nothing each time it says successfully installed so I decided to factory reset my pc and reinstall everything again it says successfully installed open fsx fspax not in the menu can someone please help I would hate to think my money went down the drain
went into the fspax file in fsx and there's a read me saying that the files have been moved found the files where they said it moved to and put them in the fsx / fspax folder still nothing I would really appreciate your help
this is whats in the read me
(In 2015 version, the FsPassengers folder has moved to avoid file right problems.
The FsPassengers folder is now in the document folder.)

I understand your frustration. Your post isn't the first one I've seen of this nature. First and foremost, have you deactivated UAC within Windows 10? If not, please do so. That way you can help offset the protections within Windows 10. It may be interfering with the FsP installation. If you do have UAC turned off already, perhaps you should think about uninstalling FSX-SE completely and re-installing outside of the (X86) directory. It is known to cause protection issues with FSX-SE and some addon software. For example: install in C:\FSX-SE
Getting back to my first point. If you haven't turned off UAC and then do turn it off, please uninstall FsP, reboot pc, and then re-install FsP....if you intend to keep FSX-SE in the (X86) directory. Usually even this will not provide desirable results with some systems. I'm just giving you fair warning about it.

I have tried everything I read in this forum, I have deleted the lines of the appcompatflags editing windows register...and one day it works and the next day it stops working... Finally, as I was bored, I uninstalled FXPassengers. A pity.... I am a veteran user (for more than 11 years!!) Ignacio, perhaps there is more going on with your system than we can fix...especially if you have tried EVERYTHING to fix the issue based on the forum suggestions. Usually this isn't a one size fits all solution.
