FSPassengers X not showing in Menu - Propilot23k - 13-01-2020
Hello,
FSP was working for the longest and then steam issued a New beta branch. I downloaded that and then It didnt work in it. I reverted back to the previous non beta and it still wouldnt work. I uninstalled then reinstalled fspassengersX and it still doesnt show in the menu bar. Ive done everything with the log files and stuff that ive seen on the forums and it still doesnt work. Any help would be appreciated.

However you should just have followed the steps suggested by steam https://steamcommunity.com/games/fsxsteamedition/announcements/detail/2549529393507642734
In case of no success try uninstalling and do a clean reinstall of FSX-SE https://dovetailgames.kayako.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/47/14/

Thanks but Like Ive stated.....ive done all three already. it still doesnt work.

You have FSX and FSX-SE dll.xml files
Check that fspassengers addon is present in both of them, because seems that FSX-SE looks into FSX\dll.xml instead of just FSX-SE\dll.xml. If not add it manually
Then be sure to run FSX-SE as administrator and to have disabled UAC

However UAC is User Account Control in Windows.
- Type UAC in the search field on your taskbar. (If the search field isn't visible, right-click the Start button and choose Search.)
- Click Change User Account Control settings in the search results.
- Then do one of the following:
- To turn UAC off, drag the slider down to Never notify and click OK.
- To turn UAC on, drag the slider up to the desired level of security and click OK.
- You may be prompted to confirm your selection or enter an administrator password.

yes that was already disabled as well.

So you have to do a FSX-SE clean reinstall and check it without any addon. Then try adding your addons one by one starting from fspassengers

A fresh install with no add-ons work. but when I install anything that has to be added to the dll.xml it doesnt show in the menu.
