FS 2020 - iflyfsx - 02-12-2019 The 2020 version looks un-f'ing-real. It looks like I'm going to need to buy a computer I can't afford. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTETsm79D3A RE: FS 2020 - Joeflyer - 02-12-2019 So that's the reason why I haven't bought a new pc yet The $5k I was going to spend on a new one appears to already need an upgrade to $6k or more. Geez. RE: FS 2020 - whiskey-zulu - 14-07-2020 Have pre-ordered my basic copy using my old X-box gamepass, but I'm sad to see some of the classics of FS not being included like the 737 and 777. I suppose the 787-10 might make up for the lack of base 777, but the 777 is a beast of its own, moreso now with the 777-8/9s. I'm hoping that my 5 year old computer will be able to handle the load. Pity to hear that Dan isn't planning an FSP for FS20, but completely understandable. Not a setting for everyone RE: FS 2020 - whiskey-zulu - 14-07-2020 (14-07-2020, 04:57 PM)f3rr0 Wrote:Yes, i've seen that chart. However, long experience of MSFS tells me that even if the specs match, there's no guarantee that it'll work properly, especially at max settings.(14-07-2020, 03:43 PM)whiskey-zulu Wrote: Have pre-ordered my basic copy using my old X-box gamepass, but I'm sad to see some of the classics of FS not being included like the 737 and 777. Hopefully going to be back in the saddle (virtual cockpit) once FS20 is released. Sods law being I no longer have to overly worry about my PC being up to scratch, as the motherboard died this morning , but new one and CPU are arriving tomorrow. Trudging along every day : I worry about when one or more of my old pc components start failing. Fortunately only the power supply and graphics card failed on me last year. But, the OC'd i7 2600K is still performing very well after 6 or 7 years. I am hoping it will keep running until I embark on a new build early next year. RE: FS 2020 - jimfr78 - 08-08-2020 I have the chance to test MSFS2020 and, with my configuration, it works great in maximum settings, i have an AMD 3700X (4100 Mhz on all core) on a ASUSTEK X570, 32Go (DDR4 3200), GeForce GTX 1070Ti, SSD MP600. But i have the chance to have also the fiber (1Gb/s) It is very smooth and no slutter. And they have included the TrackIr, things that i can't miss anymore. |
